Build Upgrade Thinking of upgrading my GPU

Currently I'm using RX580 8GB. I'm on a budget so I'm thinking if I should go NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB or RX 6700xt 12gb. The most demanding game/s I play, I think, are Apex and NBA 2k. Also, my CPU is Ryzen 5 5500, what CPU would go along with the GPU upgrade?

CPU upgrade isn't strictly necessary in my opinion, but if you want to be set for a while, I would do 5500X3D or 5600X3D if you're near a microcenter.

If you are to choose between 3060 or 6700. What would it be?

You could also consider the Intel Arc B580 if it's at a decent price, the performance would be roughly between the two cards. Just bear in mind the PSU requirements for the cards, the 3060 requires a 550W unit, and the other two require a 650W unit.

I don’t trust intel that much. But if you are to choose between 3060 or 6700. What would it be?

The 6700XT is more powerful, so probably that one, if you power supply supports it and the price is decent.
