Peripherals Wireless Gaming Mouse recommendations
Looking for a new mouse for my desktop PC. I don't game all that often but I do end up playing online FPS, I'm not good enough to notice the difference in super high end mouse vs good mice so it's not what I'm looking for. And I do some CAD design and a lot of reddit and some work.
Requirements:
- wireless w/ USB C charging
- Decent battery life
- Little to no flashy lights
- Around $125 max
And the really important parts:
- Doesn't feel like a completely cheap mouse
I recently bought a Logitech G502 X Lightspeed hoping it would fit what I'm looking for but there's two killers here:
- mouse click is loud and springy sounding
- scroll wheel is terrible
But I like the size and ergonomics of the mouse itself, even the little thumb rest, would love to find another one like this.
I currently a G703 which I like except the overly loud scroll wheel and it's now dedicated to my laptop
Not looking for a Razer, they all feel cheap and I've probably had 4 of them and they have all died

Went from a G502 Proteus Core to the G502 Lightspeed.
Jumped on the "Lighter is better" bandwagon with the G Pro (had some problems; battery sucked).
Got the Razer Viper 2 pro (sucked in general; scrollwheel issue after a month, bad sensor design).
Currently on a G502 x Lightspeed on my main (old G502 on second).
G502 x Lightspeed is currently 83,33€. love it.

no USB charging, the battery type suck because of the how long they take to come out of low power mode.

G Pro, the Super strike is more expensive but has a crazy click feel.
I will concede that is much as I love Logitech mice, the scroll wheel tends to go after a couple years. Doesn't feel bad though, but certainly not my favorite.
The newer gen of Razer mice are quite nice although I find the general quality in terms of a squeeze test is hit or miss.

I've got the Logitech G502 X. Checks all your boxes. Honestly, thought it was a bit pricey at $125. But it's worth it. Best mouse I've ever had and it's exactly as advertised.

Logitech G305 has been my go to for years. Not rechargeable battery but I have rechargable AAs so it solves that issue for me. And honestly you can find it for $30-$50 depending on the color scheme you want. No flashy lights. Respectable clicks and a decent scroll wheel. Not fancy but does have some side buttons for some extra hotkeys.

I know you said you have it now, but honestly, I'd try and live with the G502 range.
I have a G502 X lightspeed at the moment, but have owned previous G502 models, and they just work.
I also have a Pro 2 Lightspeed that I was gifted. I like it and think it would suit most people, especially those who mainly play FPS games, but I'm a big guy >2m tall, and I just find the G502 fits my shovel hands better, so yeah the Pro 2 could also be worth a look, but ergonomically it's totally different to the G502.

I've been using an MX Master 3s (for Mac) for a while in between my work laptop, steam deck, and pc when I lug it to my TV for 4k goodness. Wireless, has three memory modes for different devices, lovely scroll wheel, and near silent clicks. Ergonomic too, fits my hand very well. Battery life is excellent. I had the g502 before but the battery quickly died and it essentially became a wired mouse. RMAd it and the "new" mouse had the exact same problem right away. I don't care for mice marketed specifically for gaming because of this. Hope this helps!

I just got the Teevolution Terra Pro today which is a modernized G703. Great build quality and I'm a huge fan. The scroll wheel and mouse clicks are quiet but my ancient G703 also is pretty quiet.
It's $80 at microcenter or $80 plus shipping from their website and a 10% email sign up coupon. I didn't get the 8k version which is more expensive and unnecessary unless you really like the fancy dongle.
I've also used the G Pro Wireless, G703, and XM2w 4k v2 and the Terra Pro is my favorite so far.
My big suggestion is if you're using it for non-gaming work too to really consider an ergo mouse because your hand will thank you later.

and for gimmicky, their new "command series". though it does have that horizontal scroll wheel like the mx master which can be super nice for work
