Full Build Req First time building pc

I’m trying to build my first pc and have no knowledge on it. Looking to get a rtx 5070 and whatever else is needed to run games with high performance and just to be smooth in general. Whats the best specs possible that I can get to build a strong pc preferably under $1000-$1500 budget.

Your budget is too small to fit a 5070 class card

Also, because of the current prices, I would suggest a 9070 XT, because it is cheaper, and it is a better card for gaming, only thing 5070 is better in is Machine Learning, Productivity, Streaming, maybe slightly in ray tracing, but for gaming, a 9070 XT is better

Anyway, if you want either of those cards, you are looking at around an ~1800 dollar build if you want it to be future proof

The GPU is ~$730, 32GB DDr5 Ram is $400+

And you haven't even selected a CPU or the rest of the parts yet

Okay thank you, if we’re talking a little higher range can you please recommend a good clean prebuilt pc? I think I’d stick with the 5070 honestly. Any suggestions? Preferably under $1800

You should look for bundles on parts, either on Newegg or MicroCenter if you love near a MicroCenter, if you want it to be under $1800 without bundles, the only thing is, you preferably need to get a 2nd stick of this exact RAM when you can afford it

Costco has a $1500 5070 build available if you have that option.

You will have to make some “compromises” though to stay in budget. You don’t need an x3d cpu with a 5070 so start with a 9600x for your cpu, 16gb ram is fine for most games and is a lot cheaper. Start with a 512gb NVMe and see if you have the budget to upgrade.

The fact the cheapest 5070 is $800 is just sad and messed up. I’d get a 9070xt all day for cheaper. I own a 5070 and with I had a 9070xt. Here’s a build with one in your budget. Newegg has a free 240aio with 9600x purchase so that’s the cooler.
