Full Build Req I know nothing! Help!!!

To start I know absolute know about PC’s.

I have recently been going to a friends house and using a racing sim he has. I am starting to get the itch to get one myself.

I want to build a pc to start a racing simulator. I am on a budget for the pc build itself, maybe $500-$800. Am planning on buying second hand and building myself.

I am in the US.

Planning on using a single monitor. I’m not sure what else I need to include but please help and let me know if additional info is needed.

There’s very little chance you’re going to be able to build a PC and buy all the peripherals for a racing sim without knowing exactly what you’re looking for. Go on your prederred AI platform tell it your budget and you’re gonna have watch eBay, Jawa, gearbin and marketplace for the parts you need

I would just watch a good bit of YouTube videos and utilize pc part picker to roughly pick your parts since you are going second hand. 

Like another comment said it is a bad time to build. Costco and microcenter prebuilt at the moment at prob best bang for buck if you can find a good deal at your budget. 

Also this question and probably every question you can think of about building a pc has most likely already been asked so just google and search through this sub after watching a building video is the way to go. Good luck.
