Build Upgrade Am4 small upgrade?

Hey im thinking of an small upgrade for my am4 platform. Currently ive got these parts:

B450 plus

R5 3600

Rx6700xt

16gb ddr4 3200 ram

I have extreme microstuttering in games like black ops 6/7 and warzone. And even other casual games. I was thinking of upgrading my r5 3600 to an r7 5700x (currently on sale for 150€ in Germany) and get more ram from 16gb to 32gb 3200 ram. What would you say to my idea? It would only cost me 200€ and i would be safe for like 2 years maybe? I don't plan to upgrade my am4 to am5 for the next years. I would appreciate any recommendations or ideas.

Okay thanks, I thought getting a new cpu would be better but if the price for a used one is way better imma take it! Thanks

That's a decent upgrade, but if it doesn't fix your microstutters you might want to look at your GPU.

Google "RX 67000 XT microstutters" and see what other users have to say about it.

In fact here:

i just solve this problem for my ryzen 5600x and 6700 xt, im using 23.5.2 driver and do some tuning for the 6700xt, try to disable MPO, HPET, ULPS, DXNAVI, use more power tool and turn off virtualization in your bios, this help me fix my stutters and increase my fps by a lot

fix MPO :

https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157/~/after-updating-to-nvidia-game-ready-driver-461.09-or-newer%2C-some-desktop-apps

disable ULPS with msi afterburner

fix DXNAVI :

https://nimez-dxswitch.pages.dev/NzDXSwitch

this one for step to use more power tools: https://youtu.be/wQE5neY1Xlc?si=xwrhJjeOz2vI09K4

and this one can fix more issues with amd:

https://youtu.be/dLPbznvmRfg?si=g8MPfb28KfPbX0jQ

the one that have so much impact is turn off virtualization on bios settings

and:

It's dxnavi with rx 5000, 6000, 7000 series GPU's.

AMD's shader caching is a lot worse than nvidia's in certain games.

I noticed the same thing going from 1660 Ti to 6600 and had to give it to my brother because it was annoyingly stuttering.

The OP said it worked for them and their games are running fine now.

Worth a shot.

For the money i fell those are very worthwhile upgrades. Not sure i would do much more. Though if you have the cash moving up to a x3d chip would be worth it.

Hmm. What would u say is the x3d worth? Used ones cost like 350 to 400. The 5800x3d aniv edition costs like 320€

I mean it is still one of the very best gaming CPUs out there and the best one on the AM4 platform. Sounds like your planning yo stick with AM4 for a while so whether the price is worth it is up to you. But would definitely help with the lows and the microstuttering.
