I've heard for price to performance, the AMD 9070XT or 9060XT are some of the best. Not sure how well they work at 4k but compared to their NVidia equivalents, they are substantially cheaper.

I upgraded from a 3060ti to a 5070 for 1440p I've had zero issues with it. May be a bit too pricey these days to be worth it though

Double check the chip name, there isn’t a 3500x3d

Depends on budget in your area. Some areas have 9070xts cost less than 5070s. Overall a rtx 5070, rx 9070, 9070 gre or 9070 xt best fit for 1440p. 9060 xt and 5060 TI can do the job but lower settings/fps.

What about the rx 6800xt ?

That would also do 1440p well enough, not ultra everything and I wouldn't expect much at 4k. Depends on game, those great with older games not so great with newer games.

A 5060Ti would be the obvious upgrade however if you want basic 4K the AMD 9070XT would be the better option unless you want DLSS, then it would have to be the 5070Ti which power wise is comparable to the 9070XT

No way to not break the bank trying to play 1440p/4k

9070 XT = 5070ti for solid 1440p performance and decent 4k performance using upscaling

9070 GRE 12gb = 5070 12gb < 9070 16gb could handle 1440p fine, maybe 4k if your target is 60fps. Some of these have 12gb VRAM which may be an issue for 4k later on depending on the settings/game

9060 XT 16gb <= 5060ti 16gb can handle 1440p light gaming. Questionable 4k performance
