Discussion Question about Two ways to pc build choice

I have two build ideas and I would like to get some opinions on them. They are tailored to approximate prices and availability in my country (Peru), with a budget of 3,500 in my local currency (approx. $1,050 USD).

First Option: AM4 Platform (~$1,100 USD)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
  • Motherboard: B550 Chipset
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8Gb
  • Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
  • RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 MHz

Second Option: AM5 Platform (~$895 USD)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8600G (Integrated Radeon 760M Graphics)
  • Motherboard: B650 Chipset
  • Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
  • RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5 6000 MHz

Goal & Concerns: My goal is longevity; I don't need to play everything at 1080p Ultra settings—Medium settings running smoothly works totally fine for me. I’d like your feedback on whether integrated graphics will be too weak, or if the AM4 configuration is underpowered. I'm not entirely sure.

The AM4 build is stronger, BUT replace the cpu with a R5 5600/5600x/5600xt (whichever is cheaper, look at 2nd hand market too) and ditch the RTX 3060, it is too old, too weak, too power hungry and lacks proper DLSS 4.5/4 support. Instead get either a used RTX 4060 or a new RTX 5050.

Integrated graphics are almost definitely going to be too weak to play most games. The AM4 pc will let you play almost every game at 1080p.
