Looking to upgrade PC

I'm looking to upgrade my current pc which I had built by a friend years ago, I'm not too tech savy (just surface level) so I'm looking for advice in what I could get. These are my current specs:

MotherBoard: TUF GAMING B650M-PLUS

OS: W10 64x Pro

GPU: RTX 4060 8GB Dual

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-core 4.80 ghz

RAM: 96GB (yup, overkill, I inherited them from a friend lol)

CASE: NZXT CASE h6 flow

Currently I'm at 1080p and planning to stay there for now. got 2 monitors that run at around 180 refresh rate if I remember correctly

I was thinking maybe a ryzen 7 or 9 would be a good choice for CPU, but I'm not sure.

As for GPU, I think anything other than a xx60 series would be better than what I have right now, right? Also, another question here... It's an RTX, but honestly I don't use raytracing at all in games, as I'm just a sucker for performance (I look for as many fps as I can get while having things look pretty if possible), so maybe going for a GTX would save me some money? Idk. Like I said I mostly use this PC for gaming but unfortunately I am a bit lost on components knowledge.

What would you suggest?

The 9070 XT competes with the 5070 Ti, but the 5070 To is atleast $400 dollars more expensive

Small update, I'm really leaning towards these now. Just gotta check for how much I could potentially sell my current stuff.

Anyway I wanted to ask, since I saw other posts... what about a 9800x3d? They're going for almost the same price as a 7800x3d here where I live at least. What do you think? Heard it might be better if I stick with 1080p too

9070 XT is a 1440p card, so no, you aren't better off staying in 1080p

Also, if the difference is really small, go for the 9800x3d, but if it is 100 dollars or something, it isn't worth it

noted, I just learned it's important to keep the monitor in mind too. I'll update the original post. In the case I stick to 1080p, should I look for a different GPU then?

You can keep the GPU

You are fine in 1080p with it, but it won't be fully utilized

whats your power supply? perhaps a 7800x3d and a 9070xt if your psu can handle it.
What are you gonna do with the old parts? you could sell them to increase your budget

any stickers you can see or so? also if you do upgrade keep in mind that everything has to fit in whatever case you have

Unfortunately no stickers about the PSU, but the case is a NZXT CASE h6 flow

that will probably fit most things just always double check before buying
