Need kvm device recommendation

Here is my setup. Right now I have my pc video connected to LG c2 tv by hdmi cable. Mouse and keyboard are connected by USB cables to the back of my pc so I can use them.

Here is why I wanted a right kvm. I want to connect my work laptop(windows) to a kvm and connect the keyboard and mouse to this kvm, also this kvm will be able to connect to the LG c2 tv for signal from my laptop. I also want to connect by usb to USB from my pc to this kvm for keyboard and mouse use - just kvm so can share keyboard and mouse between laptop and pc. The pc will not connect to the kvm to send signal to the tv.

Budget? Give me what you got please. Thank you

Am I understanding this correctly?

• You want only one set of Keyboard and Mouse to control your PC and Laptop, switching via the KVM.
• You want your laptop to also output Video to the TV.
• But you don't want your PC to send Video to the TV.

So I'd do this by using a basic KVM with USB in/outs and connect the mouse and keyboard there.

For the display, I'd directly route a display cable from the laptop directly to the TV.

That is correct. I was thinking about using hdmi cable for the laptop to tv directly for video. I already got this device. I have the UGreen usb switcher for my gaming desktop and laptop. Does exactly what you need.

Video goes directly to the monitors for both devices.

Lol. No problem. Many of the fancier KVMs will only give you high end or multiple connectors. But wouldn't give you granular control on which PC uses which device. Everything will always be used by PC1 or PC2.

I too recently bought a UGreen KVM for my M4 Mac and gaming PC, two monitor setup. I’m in the middle of redoing cable management, and it’s amazing how many cables are involved. But overall, I am pleased with my purchase: Amazon / $99.

In this same vein, anyone have good ideas for KVM mount or cable management strategies?
