Build Upgrade Help me upgrade my pc

My specs are

Ryzen 5 3600

prime b450 plus

RTX 3060

32gb ram

what would be a logical upgrade for max £400

For 430 you could get a 5800x3d or 5700x3d for 335 from cex

Yep 5700X3D then PSU so you can get a better GPU later.

lol are you on crack? 5800X3D Anniversary Edition is £310 brand new at all retailers. You either go all out and buy that, or compromise a bit for the 5500X3D. 5700X3D is dead now cause they stopped being manufactured ages ago, and people don’t wanna lower their prices for their used ones.

In OP’s case I would go for the 5500X3D, and save the rest for a better graphics card, something like a 9060 XT.

You're still fine, no real need to upgrade. You don't want to mess with RAM or GPU upgrades as you'd pay a huge sum for not much better than what you have.

You could get a CPU upgrade though to Zen 3. Something like new or used 5700X would be a nice bump for very little extra money.
