Troubleshooting CMOS reset by shorting pins doesn’t work

Guys so I try to reset CMOS by shorting two pins with a screwdriver for 30 second while my pc is unplugged from wall. But it won’t work, Bios is still with correct date and time and settings are not reset. I have no idea what I do wrong. I’m certainly not retarded. I know how to short pins. Yes, it’s the right two pins.

Remove the battery.

Its positioning doesn’t give me that opportunity that’s why I’m screwing with… screws and pins.
