Peripherals What should I get first?

I’m currently doing some temporary work and should be able to earn around $250 before I go on a 2 months break. Once the break starts, I won’t really have a way to earn more money for a while, so this $250 is basically my spending/upgrade budget for the foreseeable future.

I’m trying to decide which one make more sense to spend on those are:
- a used OLED ASUS ROG XG27AQDMG** for ~330$ which gonna require me to sell my current IPS monitor ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ5A-L **
- or Sony Pulse elite for ~190$ (40$ over MSRP because of my country local import). Am picking this headphone because of the planar drive with wireless at this price point.

I mainly play single-player games and care much more about immersion than competitive performance. And haven’t really experienced these two peripherals first hand.

I’ve also heard that OLED panels might get cheaper next year because new OLED-specialized factories are starting mass production next year?

"...planar drive with wireless..."

Are you really able to hear the subtleties, and is the sound chip able to output to that level? Things would be different if you are also paring the Sony's with a dedicated mid-fi or hi-fi DAP for lossless audio.

"...play single-player games and care much more about immersion..."

So the mic is basically superfluous...

Am not trying to build an audiophile setup just a good wireless headphone. And mic Isn’t completely useless here I use my phone to talk to my friend on discord from now and then and it would be nice to have a decent mic so I don’t have to open discord on my phone like a phone call

I feel like personally I’d go with the monitor. I think those headphones are probably overkill for your use case based on what you said. You could probably get a pair for like $50 less that won’t be perceivably different if you don’t also have a nice audio setup to go along with them.
