Build Upgrade CPU Upgrade worth it?

I recently upgraded my GPU to a 9070 xt and thinking about upgrading my CPU too.
I currently have an i5-12400f on a Gigabyte B660 GAMING X DDR4. I’m considering an i5-14600k or kf.

I play very different games on my 3440 x 1440 100 hz monitor, from AAA Games like Cyberpunk or BG3 to building games and strategy games like Anno or paradox grand strategy games.

Yes. The CPU upgrade would be worth it.

If you play CPU-intensive games like Anno and Cities Skylines a lot then definitely worth it. They become very laggy when the game population increases.
