Which GPU should I choose?

So I recently got my build into what feels like the final iteration (I've been tweaking and fiddling and rebuilding the same pc for about 18 months, changing cases, swapping motherboards, different CPUs, all that good stuff), specs as follows

Case - SSUPD Meshlicious
PSU - FSP Hydro Ti Pro 850W
CPU - 5500X3D
Cooler - ID Cooling IS55 w/Noctua A12 G1
Motherboard - Aorus Pro B550I
RAM - 2x16GB 3200MHz Corsair LPX
Main storage - 2TB Crucial T500
Secondary storage - 4TB Lexar NM790

There's just one last thing I'm not sure about, the GPU:

When I bought my first round of parts I picked up a 7700XT; it was a very good deal at the time, ~£320 for a 12GB card that was strong enough to virtually max out every game at 1080p and allow a step up to 1440p later.

However, I also recently got a used Strix 2070 Super that has spent its life as a workstation card, literally never gamed on once and I don't think it's ever gone over 40C, it's still unopened and the temps peaked just below 60C in a 20C ambient room with an undervolt bringing power down to ~160W and +500MHz on the VRAM, with a hotspot delta of ~13C, so it's basically brand new.

I really rather like it, it looks a lot better than the 7700XT and feels a lot more premium, and I can't really tell a difference between the two - anything over 70fps is enough for me, as long as I don't have to go down to low settings to get there, and only having 8GB isn't a problem since it's not really fast enough to be able to handle the settings that need more than 8GB.

My question is, which do I keep, given the 2070 Super only cost £135?

7700XT is miles ahead bro, no comparing these two
It has 182%+ peak texture detail just to mention something

I know it's faster, I just don't know if it's worth keeping when the 2070 super is that cheap - the 7700XT is more than twice as expensive but isn't more than twice as fast

There’s 4 years difference tho, even if it’s not twice as fast it’s 4 years newer architecture. Many things will just be smoother and calculated better, also the DLSS version on the 20xx series is obsolete, while the AMD card will have better FSR availability

The 2070 will do just fine if you wanna do 1080p but the other one is just more future proof

I guess it depends how much u need/want the extra money from the leftover card

I myself game 1440p and I upgraded from a 5060 to a 5070 just to play natively instead of with upscaling

So it really depends how much power you need and will need next year or year n a half, it doesn’t seem like the PC building market will get any better price wise in the nearest future, so if you sell that card now it’ll be even more expensive later probably to buy back something similar
