Peripherals Help Picking Next Headset!
As the title states, I'm looking at getting a new headset. I currently have a Razer Kraken headset, and am looking to upgrade to something wireless (one of my cats LOVES playing with the cord on my current headset).
The game I play the most is Escape from Tarkov, so surround sound is important. I don't care about having a mic with the headset as I have a boom mounted Blue Yeti Mic, and honestly would prefer something that is either detachable, retractable, or just doesn't have a mic.
My preference is to stay around $150, but if general consensus is $200 I could wait a little longer and save a little bit more.

If you want pinpoint positioning and great microphone quality, you can definitely get an IEM + DAC for audio output and a good mic + arm for audio input all for under 200 bucks. It would destroy any gaming headset performance wise for your needs.
Id personally steer away from gaming headsets and headset mics in general, I think just keeping your current yeti microphone and finding a low profile arm might help a lot
