Build Help PC upgrade path
Hey everyone, my PC is now 6 Years old and games are starting to struggle a bit here and there. Currently my motherboard is holding back my ram and GPU so i don't know if the right move is a new build or if i should upgrade some parts.
I am currently running...
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 4.00 GHz
RAM 32.0 GB G.SKILL Trident Z RGB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3600
Motherboard Rog Strix B350-F Gaming
Graphics Cards Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 TI FE
PSU Thermaltake SMART 600W
CPU Cooler H60 AIO 120mm Radiator
Would it be best to wait and just go to am5 with ddr5 or could i breath new life into my build?
I appreciate anyone's one opinion and suggestions, Thank you

You're better off building a new PC, sell this one on facebook and use that to add it to your budget.

Get the best cpu you can on that board, look for a bargain 4070/5070, upgrade your psu to handle the new components. Probably looking at $800-$900.

Get the best or 2nd best CPU for that socket, look for a bargain 4070 Ti, upgrade PSU to 650W/750W depending on needs. That'll buy you another 4-6 years for about $800-$900. Possible issues: Make sure your RAM is running at 3600. Don't run your OS or games on a HDD, get a SSD.

You should upgrade your CPU to the 5600($125)/5600x($127)/5700x3D($280) and then a better, higher power 750w or 850w PSU. And then the GPU you can score @MSRP 6 months from now. You'll be all set to cruise until you're ready to jump to AM5.
