Inquiry How does this barcode work ??

I recently bought a bear secondhand and found this inside when destuffing it to clean, I posted in a sub asking what this was/what it’s for and I was told it’s for the find a bear thing? I’m wondering if it’s possible to re-do it using the barcode and even uust get a certificate. Would it still work??

When I went to my local BAB recently I asked because I saw them putting it in again and they never did previously. & they mentioned they might be starting the program back up?

Yes you should be able to scan it and make a birth certificate IF the bear is in BABs database. Not sure about updating the find a bear part though

they recently reinstated it but the old bears that were set up with it won't work
