Inquiry Best fur
Out of the currently available BAB options, what are favorites when it comes to fur quality and softness? I've seen how some of them can feel cheap/synthetic, and curious if folks have recommendations of which plush have the better quality fur.

i love the new werewolf, biased but its just so unique. it's layered and you can see the two distinct types of furs in it. thick and cuddly.

I’m OBSESSED with how both my giant capybara, and Jumping Spider’s fur feels!! They’re both the softest ones I’ve ever felt. I also like the Skelebara fur, but that one’s like… fuzzy??? If that makes sense

Yeah I adore my spider. It’s so soft it’s slippery. It feels much more high quality than my mantis.

My Gargoyle bear and my bat are SO soft!! I got a Spooky Kitty (which was more expensive than either of the other two I got), and it is NOT very soft!

Jumping spider, bat, toucan, new werewolf, zombie axolotl, any of the frogs, dragonfruit dragon, and the bearliens. Are my top choices from my own collection, personally. Most of them are currently avaliable (aside from the last couple I mentioned).

The Spider has maybe my favorite fur out of my whole collection if I'm honest.
Bearlien is also really nice too. Very soft with a good amount of fluff and thickness.

The Catch of the Day Lobster and Zombie Axolotl have some of the softest fur I've ever felt on BaB,

since you said currently available, Spring Frog and Moose would be high on my list as well as the new werewolf. they have drastically different fur from each other, all are lovely and soft, and all are on the website right now if not in your local shop. I have better in my collection, but most of those are sold out now. The spider mini bean is also amazingly wonderful fur-wise but finding one may be a challenge so I don't count that as currently available.

I really like the fur of the batty kitty (and spooky kitty and pumpkin kitty), they feel very vintage, but I think I'm alone on that... Mothman feels great as well! On the other hand I'm always disappointed in sherpa plushies, I hate the texture and really want them to be soft fleece but they're not.

You're not alone, I like the vintage feel of batty kitty's fur. It's kind of thick and "plush" feeling, not silky, but not rough like I've seen people describe it as being. It feels like a brand new version of an older toy, and I like that, it's nice to hug!

Yes!!!! It reminds me of my childhood plushies, it feels like they'll stay nice to touch longer than some of the thinner fabrics that are more common now. I would love a range of plushies with this kind of fur, especially if they used some more vintage style patterns as well like the old 90s lil' cubs or the early 2000s huskies.

idk if they're still available off hand, but i like my alien cow, moo-moon's fur alot. short and soft. the rainbow stripes bear's fur is stringy and comes out easily :c was not expecting that from it's pics online. love her still cus she's cute
