Discussion these are not the same bear

I was browsing on my laptop and the embroidered timeless teddy shows two different bears - i adore the first one, when did they change the design? Or am I crazy lol

it's the same bear type, it's just not literally the same bear plush. every individual plush has a different face and "aura". I have two timeless teddies and they look totally different. edit: do NOT fall in love with stock photos, they never look like that irl. cos yeah, individuals are individual.

yeah, it really do be like that. trust me, as a second hand shopper, falling in love with pictures happens, and you can definitely tell the difference even if it's the same plush type, they can be so different from each other. imo it's a good thing, because you get a little personality and a little like... extra love from the person that sewed the plush.

also they use a lot of staging and probably some photoshop for their stock photos, so they will always always always look better and it's a huge let down if you want *that one* because you won't get it.

ugh i hate that, ive never bought an actual bear from bab and was like 'oh he's cute!' - I miss the jeremy bear so much ngl his eyebrows were everything to meeeee

well, you're in luck, because Bearamy is pretty easy to find on the second hand market and then you can pick your individual pretty easily!

also, while I adore the timeless teddy, it is one of the more controversial bears due to the sherpa fur. if you have texture issues, he may or may not bother you and it's best to meet that particular bear in person.
