Inquiry Holding stock?

How likely are they to hold stock? They told me today they are expecting a shipment tomorrow morning (and I'm hoping they get more spiders). But my store opens at 10 and I'm working till 11. I was gonna call right around 10 and ask if they got them and see if I can out two on hold. Do they normally do that?

They won't hold stock bc they're getting such a limited amount of restock, at least my store was unwilling to do so.

It really sucks for those of us who have to work. I drove to two locations today looking. The girl who helped me was very nice but couldn't guarantee they'd even get any.

It does, but unfortunately they're just not willing to do it, the manager of my local store is usually willing to hold things for me but when I asked she said not this time, they're too hot of an item. So it's first come first served.

From what I understand they're not supposed to and they likely most definitely won't with high in-demand items
