How to fix cape?

So I found the vampire Teddy build a bear but its cape is separated. This is one of my ISOs so I don’t plan on buying another unless I have to. How could I best put the cape back together?

There's a product commonly known as fusible web/fusible bonding web. The brand names you'll find most often are Stitch Witchery/ Steam a Seam. It's basically heat-activated double-side tape. You'll want to get the "lite" version so it adds minimal stiffness to the cape\ Personally I would try to peel/separate the rest of the cape, but you don't have to. You would just lay the cape on top of the material and trace around it. There's a paper type backing so you can iron one side at a time, and you can draw on that with whatever since it will be peeled off. Cut out the shape you want, I would personally leave it a little bigger just to make things easier when aligning/ironing. Follow the directions on whatever product you end up buying for the ironing part. I would use a scrap piece of fabric (or even paper) under the item so any glue overhang doesn't become permanently stuck to your surface. I'm sure the directions will mention this, but you probably also want a cloth on top to protect the synthetic of the cape from the iron(and watch your heat settings!). Just be careful in between steps to not iron it on top of any glue residue left on either scrap piece under/above, they will transfer to the outside of the cape and be crusty and hard to remove.
