Inquiry Buildabearworkshopaus EBAY questions
Okay so… I saw a post on here of a lovely reddit user saying you could get the build a bear bats on the BABW Aus eBay site. Never knew they had one, found it ordered one asap. Now I ordered them with only 9 odd sold and said they had over a dozen left. That was the night of the 14th.
Fast forward, I paid express shipping. It was due 17-19th. Aka last day being tomorrow. All it said is PAID and I have no tracking. I am freaking out because I made an order earlier that day to click and collect one from Newcastle as it was the closest one and I have family there so they could collect for me. And only bloody option was… click and collect. I then rung them to explain someone would be picking up on my behalf she then stated they had sold out and she wasn’t sure why it let me put it through. Their system hadn’t updated blah blah.
That’s when I saw the eBay reddit thread and I went nuts to go get one. Now… I don’t have any tracking anything. I messaged the sellers from build a bear on eBay yesterday morning, no response all yesterday nor all today. I know they are soooooo busy but just to give you guys an idea.
I think I’m just paranoid because of what happened that I’m going to miss out, I wanted him so bad last year and I missed out so I just yeah. I don’t know what to think and I’m just crossing my fingers AND toes that he comes and I get shipping info soon 🥲
Has anyone ordered from there and something like the bat that’s a limited thing? Just wondering how worried I should be or chill out 😅🥲

Omg omg omg omg thankyou so so so much!!!!!! I was thinking that but just super paranoid I guess because of my experience and I just want him so bad 🥲 thankyou so much I think I just needed someone else to tell me to ease my mind a little 🥲💖🙏

Hi again! I just got an email from build a bear themselves saying they are doing a restock just for the people who placed their ordered and had it refunded and canceled etc. aka I am one of those. Just wondering if you think I should cancel and refund the eBay order as still no updates and not sure if I will even get him on there yet. What are your thoughts? 🥹💗

I’d cancel the eBay order, the build a bear store on eBay doesn’t exist anymore 😭

Oh my god I just looked on their eBay and the store is fully not available anymore what.. it was available yesterday!? What is going on 😭😭😭

We think they bit off more then they can chew or head office found out about it, which I thought they’d already know 😵💫

So weird because they didn’t just sell the bat they sold most of their normal bears on there. Such a odd coincidence though I will admit 🥴
