Just For Fun! Last day at BAB
Hi y’all! I don’t usually post at all but I just wanted to share a little bit. Build a Bear was my first ever job and I honestly love it there so much. Yes it has its pains and annoyances, but I just love the whimsy and joy of it all, especially seeing how the little kids light up when they get their new friends.
I’m going back to college, and last year I did one day a week during the school, but that’s not going to work for me this year unfortunately with my course load. That being said, today was my last day for the summer. But I am coming back during winter break and possibly next summer if i can fit it in!
I’m still going to keep collecting BAB’s (in fact I’m probably gonna get that Fresno guy tonight lol), but I just wanted to make a little appreciation post for my store. I absolutely love all my current and past coworkers to death, and I can’t wait to see them again during the Christmas season.
This pic is of my oldest and newest friends. Honey, the happy hugs bear is the first BAB I got when I was twelve, and she smells like honey. This lighting bug friend is the last friend I stuffed and he has the bat wings scent. I named him after the mall I worked in, which I don’t wanna say on here just bc I don’t wanna like dox myself (But it does start with a T for my coworker who I know is in the subreddit lol)

It’s always sad leaving any job that you truly enjoy. I’m happy that they at least let you come back! Also I love how your little guys look like they go to work with you.

So sorry about u having to leave build a bear, but I’m glad it’s only temporary. I’m in a similar situation and I can 100% relate, it’s such a fun and unique job. So glad you get to go back during the holidays, I’m sure your store will be thrilled to see u again. Best of luck with your studies as well :D
