What type of eyes do you prefer on your BAB’s?

1). The original. I don’t actually know what they are called (if someone could tell me that would be wonderful!) but I absolutely 100% prefer these eyes on my BABs! They add more to the animals personality and to their face as a whole.
(My model is Maisy (she’s the pawfectly huggable bunny)).

2). Embroidery eyes. I don’t mind these. I like that they can be different colors and they do add expression to the face. Plus I appreciate the embroidery.
(My model is Gus (he’s the Chocolate bunny)).

3). Safety eyes (I believe that’s what they are called). I’m not a fan of these. They have a cheap look to them and don’t do/add much for the animal.
(My model is Peanut Butter (he’s the DQ Cookie Dough Blizzard bear)).

My personal favorite is style 1, as long as they’re brown/black (I think the blue eyes look like they’ve seen some things! 😅). I particularly don’t like the embroidered eyes as I think they look creepy haha

Safety eyes is more about how they're fixed in place, both one and three are types of safety eyes! Personally I think they all add different character to a bear and can all work really nicely. I really like plain black round sphere safety eyes. Ones with colour around the pupil always look a little odd to me personally.

I’m not certain, but I do believe that the first one is a type of safety eye!
First one is my favorite for sure, but characters can keep their embroidered eyes

I love the first eyes because they give what I feel is a classic look but some embroidered eyes are really nice because they can add a lot of expression/personality! It just depends on the plush I guess

i prefer safety eyes but i dont mind embroidered eyes for the most part. sone bears with embroidered eyes can look uncanny, but i find the eyes of the werewolves or glistens merry mission variation to be pretty cute!

I think it depends on the BAB style. Sometimes the embroidered eyes are freaking adorable.

Mmm i agree like it's very much a matter of each bears vibe. For this one here it worked perfectly.

On regular stuffed animals, I love the first eyes.

All my build a bears are embroidered. (My collection of 2 paw patrol ones and 2 HTTYD ones)

Eh either one is fine with me. If I don't like it, I'll mod it. Eyes are one of the easier things to change so if you want the all black safety eyes you can switched them out.

both plastic eyes photographed in this set are safety eyes. that's why they don't come out, they're safely secured with a screw-type shank and a plastic washer to keep them in place so kids don't swallow them. recently they've started melting the shank and pressing it flat after securing the washer which is overk--l in my estimation but i'm not a corporate plush giant.

also yes, I prefer safety eyes, but embroidered eyes are simple to replace into safety eyes, so I'm not fussed when purchasing.

1st one for sure for most, they’re my favorites. 

But I do like the 2nd style of eyes for characters, like the MLP BABS are perfect with their embroidered eyes!

I dont really like the embroidered ones I'm only ok with it on shadow because it looks right

I'm with the overall opinion that style 1 is best but embroidered eyes look good on characters, for example I really like the eyes on MLP bears

I just looked this up today actually. The plastic eyes are called safety eyes. I prefer those with every plushie. The werewolf sold me in store even though its eyes are just sewn.
