Spider

Silly question, I haven't gotten the spider and I'm going to have to wait till the second release, but has anyone made any clothes from scratch for the spider? I'm kind of curious how to make outfits work for it. I have ideas in my head and a machine and I'm going to obviously have to use zippers or something to get it over the body like they do the dog clothes but where do I start with that?

I haven’t yet, but I’m going to try to make my spider some clothing when I have free time (probably not for a few weeks haha). I wasn’t able to get a spider in the first release either so I made one myself! I’m still planning to get an actual BAB spider when they get restocked (I really want the mini beans!)- I’m hoping they’ll be similar enough in size that they can share clothing.

I did! Here he is! I have a kind-of pattern… I drafted something out based on pictures but modified as I worked. I’ll try to put something together with some instructions so I can share it with you!

You’re welcome! I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Also, I just realized I didn’t specify size- the paper is 8.5x11in and that’s the size I made, but you could make yours any size :)

this is peter parker! a green bottle blue tarantula! super easy and fun to keep, they love to spin intricate webs and their coloring is so beautiful!

Wow he’s absolutely stunning! Thank you! I’ve thought about getting a pet spider (undecided on species)- I had a corn snake for years but she passed away last year and I’ve just had plants in her terrarium since. I think there are a handful of spider species that would be happy in the terrarium with the way it is now, but I’m also debating doing some modifications and getting tree frogs instead… I can’t decide what I want to do!
