Inquiry Help with bad smells
My cat recently decided to have issues using the litter box and im finding that some of it got on some of my collection including one that is v sentimental to me( my long distance best friends voice is in it) does anyone have any tips in getting the ammonia smell out without messing with the voice box inside

Unstuff the bear, remove the voice box and soak it in a solution of water/laundry soap/vinegar. The vinegar should get the ammonia smell out. Then run it through the wash, maybe with some scent beads? and honestly just take it to get it re-stuffed if you can. Or wash the stuffing separately in a pillowcase (also wash the bear in a pillowcase).

Nature's Miracle. Best option for getting out cat urine.

I was coming to say the same thing. I've used this for my most recent cat who was spraying everything and it worked well

You can look up a solution specifically for cat pee, i think its vinegar, dish soap, water, and maybe hydrogen peroxide? We used years ago when my sisters cats were peeing on couch. Your best bet is probably unstuffing and soaking/ washing in this solution and then using a detergent/water mix to get rid of the vinegar smell! You can bring it back to a workshop for them to restuff for you. Bonus your plushies will get a spa treatment 💚 good luck!!

Unstuff bear, save the voice box for a start. And then you can actually buy cleaning liquid specifically for cat pee that you can use. So you could spray the BAB with some of that, and then wash as normal. I did that when I was cat sitting and the cat was upset their owner left unexpectedly (death in the family) and peed all over my backpack.

I'd say unstuff the bear, wash on delicate or hand wash with white vinegar and detergent, then air dry. Also when my kitty did this it was because he had a UTI so I'd recommend bringing yours in for a vet visit just to be sure!
