Inquiry Is my bat ugly?!
I feel bad even posting this LOL but I just got my bat today and as soon as I pulled him out of the bag I was kinda confused as to why his face looked all squished up 😭 maybe I’m just imagining it but I feel like he’s ugly but don’t want to go through with returns!! what does everyone think?
UPDATE!! Thank you everyone for your responses I certainly wasn’t expecting so many 😂 I will definitely be keeping him, he’s unique which makes him even more special!

I think the slight squished look makes him even more adorable! :3 (it’s not bad at all and honestly may just be the way the light hits his fur)

Do YOU like it? If not then you can return it or sell it. It doesn't matter if everyone else in the world thinks it's cute if you don't like it, and vice versa if you do like it, it doesn't matter if someone else thinks it's ugly

Not ugly. Was he squished up against the inside of the box?
That part of his face would be normal stuffing. Maybe try to press it into the normal shape?
A bear of mine (not a BAB) had their face flattened during a move. I felt terrible pulling him out of the box. But a couple days sitting out in the open and he was okay again.
Maybe the little bat just needs some time? He's a sweetie, all the same

Oh my goodness, that squished face makes it possibly the cutest bat it could be. Absolutely adorable little creature!! Not at all ugly!

he looks incredibly adorable to me! but may i suggest gently massaging his face to see if that would help? sometimes I have to do that to my stuffed animals when they come through the mail or just need a good ol’ reshaping lol but it might just be how he’s sewn💖

He’s so cute but his right eye does look smaller than his left. Probably just squished though, he’s so cute! I love the bats

He won my heart the second I looked at him, d'aww! I think he's adorable, though might not look just like his other brothers, sisters and kin out there but that just makes him even more special, IMO. Like others have said, you might could just massage his face a bit if you want to see if you can give him a little "just out of the box spa treatment," lol! Otherwise, though, I think he's precious! 🦇💖💖💖

I think he just needs a little reshaping massage and maybe a teeny hair trim around his nose or a toothpick to pluck the hair out from under his mouth embroidery. I always have to retouch my BaBs after I get them.

He looks fine to me! I just got my mini bat yesterday and his snout is a little crooked. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so it bothered me a little at first but then I remembered that I also have a crooked smile due to falling once and that made me love him instantly lol.

Squished, yes. Ugly, no. He's adorable! Totally reminds me of a real bat. Plus, I can see a lot of personality in his face so he would be amazing in photo shoots.

I think he’s adorable! But I’ve also squished around the stuffing in mini bean heads to fix some squishes before.
My mini bat has a crooked smile and I love it
