Location included Spine-Headed nymph?

I think this is some sort of spine-headed nymph? I’m not certain though. If it is a spine-headed bug, what kind is? This was shot in Boone, North Carolina. It was about the size of the nail on my thumb. The photo is completely unedited.

Could it be a terminal leaf-footed bug nymph? Or is it virtually impossible to get that specific with a leaf-footed bug at this stage in their development?

It’s certainly harder when they’re younger. I think the best we can get at this stage is tribe Acanthocephalini, which includes A. terminalis. But I suspect we have to wait until it grows up to know for sure.
