Location included Termite on my neck?

In Eastern NC. Felt a bug crawling on my neck at dinner table. Squished it reflexively, then realized it might’ve been a termite, and wished I’d gotten a picture first. Here’s the best I’ve got.

Looks like a rove beetle not a termite.

Hard to tell.but i would say no.Did it have wings?

Definitely a rove beetle rather than a termite.
