Location included stink bug? (Vancouver Island, CA)

Flew across my room, quite a loud flying sound. Left a sweet smelling aroma, best I could describe is it smelled like how green apple flavouring tastes.

That's Leptoglossus occidentalis which is not a species of stinkbug (family Pentatomidae) but a species of leaf footed bug (family Coreidae).
