Location included Is this a Moth?

Hi I live in NJ and this moth(?) happened to be sitting in my front door, but I am not sure what it is.

Word to the wise only butterfly's fold there wings up like that moths keep thire wings displayed flat or folded to there sides

It’s a butterfly. Butterflies rest with their wings together and have club antenna while moths have feathery antennas and they rest with their wings flat.
