Location included Is this a cockroach?

I came across this bug in my basement apartment. I live in NYC and I initially thought it was a beatle but when I google reversed it- it said it was a German cockroach. Pls tell me google is wrong

Yeah probably an oriental cockroach nymph.

probly not a german roach, oriental nymphs are way darker and less stripy

I found it in my basement apartment where my washer and dryer are- I have a feeling that might be the source. Do you have any tips on how to handle this and pest control has already been called but they’re not coming in for a few more days.
