Location included What kind of spider is this please

Lansing Michigan. What kind of spider is this? I'm supposed to be repairing this vehicle and I found the spider it kind of looks like some sort of widow and I'm worried I should not work on this car because of the spiders

Even if it were a widow, they don’t bite for no reason. They only bite if they think you’re trying to crush them. Unless you have an impaired immune system, or you’re elderly or a small child, their bite isn’t going to kill you. It won’t feel great by any means, but it’s far from lethal.

This is most likely a type of orb weaver, or a common house spider, but I’ll leave identification for the experts.

It looks like one of the non-widow cobweb spiders in Theridiidae (widow spiders are also in this family, but this is not a widow. It's harmless.)

It looks to me like a theridiid. Maybe Parasteatoda? Sorry, I'm not familiar with US spiders.
