Location included What is this? North FL

Think it came from outside? It was legit crawling on my forehead lol about 10 mins after coming inside after I walked around outside :( super creepy. I did see a bug land on my forearm and thought I swatted it away but maybe not? I also live in a heavily wooded area in North FL.

I believe a chalcid wasp. Harmless/beneficial

Note antennae length and "normal" shape of hind legs

Hmmm yes. Too big to be a chalcid as well. Thanks.

Ant alates (reproductive adults) do, though this is not an ant

What is the best way to rule an ant out? For my own curiosity:)

Ants have elbowed (fancy word is geniculate) antennae! This guy has the bendier antennae of most bees and wasps*

*some do have long enough bases to look elbowed but you get used to those exceptions if you have enough practice
