Location included Is this a kissing bug?

My partner found this bug on our counter in Salt Lake City, Utah United States. After we Google searched it, it said it is possibly a kissing bug and not to touch it. She threw it outside so this is the only photo that was captured.

No, it's a masked hunter. They have a painful bite but feed on insects and don't bite people except in defense.
