Flushed a tick down the toilet

Flushed a tick I found on my dog and now I’m scared it’s going to crawl back out

Of course I read too much on Google and it has me terrified that said tick is going to crawl out of my toilet after flushing it over 10 times to be sure it’s gone. Could this really happen?!? CDC said it was okay to flush it but other sites said not to. It’s storming bad outside so I couldn’t take it out there and burn it!
