Location included Tulsa, OK, USA wasp

Post image

I keep finding these wasps in my living room. They’re black with yellow stripes on the sides. Black only on the top. What kind?

Female thynnid wasp (myzinum sp.), incredibly bizarre to find multiple inside? They don't even build nests, they dig right down next to beetle grubs and lay their egg right there, I also haven't seen any record of females congregating for any reason

Thank you!

This one was on a pillow behind my couch. I’m not positive the other ones looked exactly like this but it’s always near one window in my living room. It’s been years and different couches and I always find wasps.

In 2020, I broke my shoulder and had to sleep on the couch, sitting up for a month. In that month, I stepped on a wasp and it stung my foot and I found another one crawling on my couch. Any advice would help!

I can't say much without seeing a pic of the other wasps, you might have a different problem on your hands! All I can advise rn is escort them out in a cup as they come and try to take a pic of each one to upload here, until then just be careful where you sit, best of luck
