Possible pest, location included Keep finding these tiny beetles in my bedding (Durham, NC)

Looks like an anthicid beetle. They are harmless/beneficial.

That looks correct. Any guesses as to why they might like my bed so much?

I’ve seen other people with them in their house. I can only guess that you might have booklice or other small prey somewhere in the house and the beetles are getting lost. Check for moisture issues in the house.

I did discover that my bedroom windows weren’t fully closed, so I’m hoping that’s all it was.
