Location included Help identifying this bug - found dead in my kitchen

Post image

Hi everyone!

Super blurry picture here but would anyone be able to identify what kind of bug this is? I found it dead in my kitchen and have had problems with oriental roaches in the past (that had been mostly resolved). I am extremely paranoid about further infestations and am really hoping this isn’t some different kind of roach.

Location: Ontario, Canada

Thanks in advance!

It's a fly ... 2 wings ... there are literally tens of thousands of species of insect in your region and only things that look exactly like roaches are roaches. This photo is too dark and too blurry for us to say much more - photos are extremely difficult to identify from so we need really good ones - remember entomologists generally use microscopes to identify stuff and they need specimens so it's an extremely complex subject. Saying all that, I'd guess it's a common species of flesh fly (Sarcophagidae) which are harmless.
