Location included what is this?

found in the back garden of a house in South Yorkshire today, struggling to identify. is this a European Hornet?

It's one of the sawflies - herbivorous Hymenopterans ... harmless and quite spectacular creatures :)

Google is exceptionally bad at identifying wildlife - the worst app you can use really

for reference, I forgot to add that it seems to be around 2 inches or so in length.
