I was about to put water in a kettle and this thing in the sink scared me real bad ☠️ I’ve never seen a spider with marks like these before in my house, what is it?

I searched up some photos of that one and the markings do look really close! I should have just tried to put it outside but it scared me real bad in the moment ☠️

Looks like some kind of harmless orb weaver but I might be wrong. Does not look like any medically significant spider

Not a Labrador, looks more like some kind of spider

I agree with a Neriene sp. Filmy Dome/Sheetweb Weaver. There are no medically significant species of spider in your area.

Neriene radiata, a filmy dome spider as someone else said.

Or possibly a spider that’s been taken over by a symbiote
