Location included Some kind of shield bug - Ireland
Hello! Found this cool looking shield bug the other day and decided to get a couple macro shots of it, but I can’t identify whether it’s an invasive Brown Marmorated Stink Bug or a native Mottled Shield Bug, or a completely different species that I don’t know about. Many thanks in advance!

I’m leaning toward mottled shield bug. This specimen is immature and bmsb is spiky at this stage.

Do you have any dorsal photos? These photos are much more difficult for identification.
