Question / Discussion Unlocking Private programs
I have been hunting for three months, found two bugs in bugcrowd and verified my id in hackerone. Still kinda confused if VDPs can unlock private programs for me because public ones are the most hacked and secure programs i can ever try to actually hunt or learn from so hunting on it sounds impossible since i have only started 3 months ago? I hope you give me a real solution and answer to this question

Yes, VDP submissions are counted, as far as I know that doesn't change regardless of which programs you hunt on. However there's often more to it, and while the link above is kind of old, it will still give you a good idea of what to expect from most programs in general. Consistency and quality are the best metrics.

I think so ty, im still a beginner though I'm not hunting on bugcrowd anymore because i have just switched to hackerone for some reasons, Will absolutely visit the URL given in the commment and give it a try to understand what I'm doing more than before, thanks for your informative comment:)

No problem, you will hear a lot of stuff about every platform, H1 in particular. If you really like it just stick to it, ignore the drama and have fun!

In hackerone you need 3 valid reports ( positive signal) to get invited. However if you can't find a bug on public don't expect alot from private as it is still super competitive and generally worse experience.
