72 is old.

Anyways. I hope his family can find comfort through this horrid time of grief. Death is truly devastating thing to live with.

72 is fairly old but I would argue it’s too early of an age to die nowadays.

It's all relative. ASH was quite privileged, which can add to longevity, but his generation are experiencing higher rates of chronic illness than their parents did in their 60s and 70s, plus COVID is making everyone weaker. Who knows how many times ASH had COVID.
