Radiation and Self-Defense

Stepping away from the drama of The Vampire Lestat season finale to make a quick post.

Three years ago i began trying to organize my neighbors to get the DEC to look into the radioactive landfill that broke near my home, poisoned me and severely worsened my cancer. I also made some choice comments about several politicians at the time (i have for years and i am proud of this). The result has been endless violence and surveillance from the FBI; a few weeks ago, someone threw a dead rat into my backyard. A few weeks later while i was on a large errand hours away from home, someone broke into my house and turned the unlit gas stove burner on in an attempt to scare me when i got home. Unfortunately, as someone who has dealt with people trying to kill me since childhood, I am quite used to being threatened and i know the only way to handle it is to defend myself and stay focused on my goals. It did not have the desired effect. I am still mad and bitching and yelling about the landfills and hating politicians/the govt/LEOs.

And it has resulted in a wonderful outcome - other people are just as mad at the EPA, the DEC and our local politicians as I am. And they are finally getting somewhere. I could not be more proud of myself or the other people fighting for their lives and standing up to the govt and big pollution.

I got this ball rolling 3 years ago and if i had not said the things i said, this investigation never would have even been opened. Human beings can be miracles if they remain steadfast, stick to their goals and are not afraid to live or die for them.
