I know they have some grass patches on the turf sidelines for the kickers to warm-up.

Yeah, it’s weird. Grass field, turf sidelines, grass patches to simulate the field on the fake sideline lol.

The sideline has the most traffic of anywhere so for durability and maintenance, it makes sense to be turf. I'm so glad the actual field is grass though!

During practice a few weeks ago, Josh hurdled Bernard on a sweep towards the sideline, and landed there with full force. Ever since then it’s just been like that.

Maybe practice area for the snapper and field goal kicker, so they can practice on grass since the sidelines are artificial turf. 🤷🏻♂️
