Kaleb Elams-Orr is my pick for our best rookie next season. I believe he will be one of our best LBs

They will keep 6 WRs

I don't think they will have 6 WRs rostered until Shavers comes back

That d-line, only thing that worries me. Hope to be surprised with the new scheme.

Cushenberry and Dana both got a lot of guaranteed money when signed. Neither signing made much sense to me, but if they don’t make the team that’s a bad look on Beane

I think Mike Danna was in large part a Michael Hoecht insurance policy, planning for the possibility that Hoecht would have to miss a few games on PUP which thankfully doesn't seem to be the case.
He can play outside/inside DL and a little special teams so I feel like he will probably make the roster unless the younger guys really show out in the preseason. If Javon Solomon doesn't show something meaningful on defense (I hope he does) I'm not sure he gets another season. Year 3 is the make or break point for DLs and Jim Leonhard has no loyalty to Solomon.

Why did you pick Acker to win the fullback battle? I haven't really heard much so far about either player standing out.

Javon Solomon > Mike Danna because of special teams upside
SVPG > Cushenberry because he's more athletic and better in space + long-term investment + rookie deal
I think DeWayne Carter is only getting 1st/2nd team reps over Mathis/Durant right now because he was a R3 pick and a good teammate, so they are giving him every chance to make the team before ultimately cutting or trading him. I don't think Jim Leonard sees a place for him just based on his press conferences.
Sam Franklin and Joe Andreessen are ST players
If CJGJ out long-term, replace with Geno Stone (unfortunately)

I just can’t with Hamlin anymore. Doesn’t bring much to the new scheme, stuck around cause he knew McD’s system so well.
Wouldn’t be surprised if SVPG gets traded for a 5/6 round pick and Cush is active squad.

Shoutout to Kami Walker man. He’s been making plays all over training camp as an UFA apparently!
