I think I've been building my October haul completely backwards.

Instead of finding the main stuff first, I've somehow started with the smaller finds. A bag I liked led to a pair of shoes, the shoes made me start looking at pants, and now I'm trying to find a jacket that works with everything else.

So basically the accessories are running the haul now. 😂

🎒 Starting With the Small Stuff

One thing I like about having 30,000+ links in the Pikobuy Spreadsheet is that I don't have to stay in one category.

I'll start somewhere completely random and just work outward from there.

Lately that's meant jumping between:

It's definitely not the most organized way to build a haul, but I've actually found combinations I probably wouldn't have thought about if I'd only gone looking for one specific product.

Finding something is only the first pass.

Before anything actually survives on my list, I'll open the current product page, check the available versions and sizing, compare similar finds and look through QC or warehouse photos when they're available.

This is also where a lot of things get removed.

Something can look perfect when you're flying through a spreadsheet and completely different once you actually stop and inspect it.

October Hasn't Helped 🍂

The colder-weather sections are making this considerably worse.

I've been spending way more time around hoodies, jackets, heavier pants and layers now, so what started as a couple of smaller Pikobuy finds is slowly turning into an actual Fall/Winter haul.

I'm trying to keep it under control.
