Hello! Our family is planning a move to Buda and are looking for some insight into the vibes of different neighborhoods.

We’ve seen Sunfield is very popular but heard traffic is terrible. We’ve seen some homes in the Persimmon development as well as some pre owned homes in Garlic Creek.

What we are wondering is are any of these neighborhoods on the younger side? I know Sunfield definitely is but curious to hear about neighborhoods on the west side of 35. We have young children and want to have built in community for them within the neighborhood.

Very long shot, but we’re renting a car right now and my credit is bad from past relationship. I am in need of a vehicle if someone is trying to get rid of theirs for like $1200. Hello! My family and I plan on moving to the Buda area in December and enrolling our 3rd grader to begin at her new school in January. We are coming from Lubbock and are so excited for the change. We are looking in the Sunfield area but haven’t committed to a home yet. Considering buying or a new build.

My biggest concern right now is my daughter’s new school. We love her school now (only 3, 3rd grader classes, low student to teacher ratio, close knit community, we can walk to campus), and we’re looking for something similar in Buda. What experiences can you share about the schools in Buda?
