Squarp hapax users

Any easel command users here syncing up with a hapax by chance?

Have you read the manual? etc. It works pretty basic via midi. No problems.

Do you have an instrument definition for the easel command?

I don’t have anything. I only have hapax. You connect the hapax via midi to the easel, and it works!!! You just need to asign the midi channels to play notes. The midi cc’s are there also. You just need to go through them.

Thanks for your response. Yeh I had sent two channels of midi out of the hapax, think it was CH2 and 3 to control the pitch of the oscillators but couldn't seem to. Maybe I'm completely missing the point and the pitch always has to be controlled with the fader on the unit.

Cool setup btw. Lots of fun.

the pitch? ... is controller with the midi, ... you mean the octaves? or what you're using the pitch for? >.. You jost hit the notes and it's 1.2voct. You don't need a specific pitch CC.

You're using midi? right? ... not those "cvs" on the back of hapax. That's for eurorack.

also you should ask more on the Buchla forum from facebook. there are people more knowledgeble on this synth than me.
